The Hydroscand Group has bought a substantial part of our Russian dealer Sibexprom in St. Petersburg. Sibexprom has promoted our trade name in Russia very successfully for several years and now we have decided that it would be advantageous for us all if we consolidate the company into the Group.
The Russian staff realised very early that they needed to market a strong brand name and a complete concept. Eduard, Valeri and Olga have together with their staff managed to take a nice slice of the Russian market in hydraulic hose and fittings. In the last 12 months, the turnover was 1,660 Euro with a good profit. We have two depots in St. Petersburg and hopefully there will be several more in the future.
